Sunset Community Assistance Program (s-CAP)

The Sunset Community Assistance Program is our way of giving back to the Colorado community. When we encounter stranded motorists who have not requested service, we may stop and provide basic roadside assistance at no charge whenever it is safe and practical to do so. Our goal is simple: to help motorists reach a safer location while improving safety for everyone on Colorado's roads.
What is Courtesy Roadside?
Through the Sunset Community Assistance Program, our Courtesy Roadside Operations allow us to give back to the Colorado community.
This program was created because we believe that a few minutes of help can make a lasting difference. If we encounter a stranded motorist during our normal operations, we may stop and provide basic roadside assistance at no charge whenever it is safe to do so.
Whether it's changing a flat tire, providing a jump start, or helping a stranded motorist reach a safer location, our mission is to improve roadside safety for everyone on Colorado's roads.
While these services are offered free of charge, they are available only when our team encounters a motorist during normal operations and should not be considered a dispatchable service.
We believe that helping someone safely get off the roadway not only assists that individual, but also helps reduce hazards for other motorists and supports the safety of our entire community.
